History and Experience

Simon's grandfather was a furniture maker, and Alpine Custom Carpentry still uses some of his grandfather's tools today.

Owner and craftsman Simon Darke is a native of England and longtime resident of Chamonix, France. Simon worked in the French Alps for nine years renovating historic chalets, and there he gained the love of the outdoors and woodworking he brings to his company, Alpine Custom Carpentry.

After meeting his wife, Tristen, Simon moved to Colorado six years ago and started Alpine Custom Carpentry to share his skills (and quirky British humor) with the Front Range.

Alpine Custom Carpentry merges traditional tools and techniques with modern equipment and training to offer you exquisite and versatile carpentry projects of any scope.
